BANANA CHOCOLATE CHIPS MUFFIN

Just when i was feeling so happy with lukman and his twin brother being at home...rahim had to go back to his college in Melaka.

That was his first trip by train to KL where his other twin and the sister will be waiting for him there. He'll then be taking a lift to Melaka by a car of a college mate.

Usually it's either we send him or we get someone to drive him over. We wanted to...but my hubby is not in the best of health. It's not like we're so overprotective but upon hearing so many accidents occured i'm kinda worried... what more when taking the express bus.

Though at first he looked uncertain...i'm sure after awhile he'll be enjoying the train ride!

Hiya...what can i say...having a mum like me!

Dont know what i'll do if any of my children were to study or work abroad....

Love is always making sure your loved ones are taken care of and being loved!
( sendiri punya quotations )...hehehe!

Maybe i'm used to looking over my shoulder for them...n i'm everything for them!

Well...soon when they have families of their own...pandai-pandailah they make their own way...

So each time when i'm feeling lonely... i'll fill it up with either sewing, gardening or cooking/baking.

So i decided to make some muffins... cos i know it's the favourite of my youngest son lukman!

But on the other hand...i wish rahim is here to enjoy it too... sigh!

That i guess will have to wait till June when he'll be back for a longer semester break.

PIZZA FOR BIRTHDAY

I wanted to bake another cake for the birthday boy but he requested that i make pizza instead.

I've made a chocolate cake last week end when both of the twins were around.

Fortunately...rahim is still around enjoying another week of semester break.

Usually i will bake the pizza dough for 6-10 mins before filling up the top.

This was my second attempt of using my built-in oven teka, after 6 years of having it as a show item....dahsyat kan!.

The first attempt was about 3 years ago....

I've been so comfortable using my panasonic convention oven until days ago it stop functioning due to a freak of lightning. I've yet to repair....

Well...dont worry rasyid...i'll bake one for you later.
After all you had sushi for your birthday....a treat from sis dira.

Something to share with you peeps;

I love this recipe and it really works wonder!

PIZZA DOUGH

2 1/4 tsp dry yeast }
1 1/2 cup warm water} combine for 5 mins.until
1 tsp sugar         } frothy.

3 1/2 cup bread flour /all purpose flour
2 tlbs olive oil
1 tsp salt

Combine yeast mixture to the flour, oil & salt in the cake mixer with hooks until thorough.
Dont worry if it is soggy.
Cover the dough for 1 hr or more until it double in size.

Top the pizza dough with sauce or any toppings you like & bake them in about 180-190c.

So have a nice weekends....
& happy trying!

MORE OF BED SHEETS...PILLOW CASES N CUSHIONS.

Just as i had promised...i luv to show you peeps on how to cut the material of the bed sheet n cushions.

Actually it's very simple but to be on the safe side...i took out the hem of an old bedsheet n cut the material according to the length n breadth of it.

cut (L) at every four corners.

Next...you join the (L) of every corners.

And once you've sewn the four edges...just sew the upper n below the bed sheet with rubber strings...n walla you've got yourself a bed sheet!

since i have so much extra material....got me two different design of pillow cases.

I bought the english cotton at one of the shop selling at sales price!

I managed to buy only two materials...should have bought more....

AND
SOME OF MY CUSHIONS

Got some of the remnants material from sis iha.

I love doing things with my own handwork...
but...my dear hubby commented that one of these days some of the shops might even close cos' having people like me....love the do-it yourself thing... hehehe!

Should i take that as a compliment or otherwise....

STRAWBERRY CHEESE CAKE

It's true when they say absence makes your heart grow fonder....

Just like me...n my children...

Eversince they left the house my motherly feelings are even more stronger....

Though i meet some of them quite often but it's never enough...the parting always makes me sad....

Just like last weekends...when dira n rasyid were back for four days.

I was overjoyed...for i could spend more time with them but the goodbyes had left me...sad n lonely....

And it takes awhile to accept it....

Anyway...one of the things that will make me HAPPY is to capture the moments of what we've done together... or... what i've cooked for them!

I will treasure these pictures forever....

And the memories of the little things will either make me...sigh of unpleasantness or smile of happiness...

So now...i guess u peeps already know what i'm making for their homecoming...
Well it's strawberry cheese cake...!

Let's make something different this time....

It's beautifully...n...deliciously done!...*wink*

Opppsss!...i'm not promoting ya...n neither am i selling!

It's my way of appreciating things....hehehe!
