Perak Visit Year 2012

In conjunction of the Perak Visit Year, the department of tourism promotes Perak with event of the World Drums Festival 2012. It was held on the 25th Feb at 8pm on the Dataran MBI Ipoh. The guest of honour for the  captivating night was none other than our MB Dato Seri Zambry Abd.Kadir n wife. As usual we're one of the few head of department to attend.....

Yeap! it was captivating alright....the night was fill with thunderous sound of drums  from different countries of all over the world. They were mostly fr.the asian countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam,India,Japan, Korea, Uzbekistan,Brazil n of course our country Malaysia. Since it was on Sat.night lots of youngsters were there enjoying themselves dancing n humming to the beats of the music......
Few of the foreigners were also seen among the crowds......biasa le 'mat saleh' ni suka sgt. benda2 unique mcm ni n tak segan silu menari sama with the music!

The event ended very late....almost to 1 am i guess cos we cabut earlier before 12 midnight. Tak tahan mengantuk sgt!!
